S/S Belliver

The steamship S/S Belliver was built in 1903 at the shipyard W. Harkess & Son in Middlesbrough, England. She was 58 meters long and 9 meters wide. On September 8, 1911 Belliver sailed from Pori, Finland heading towards Plymouth, England loaded with timber. She never arrived and was reported as missing.

S/S Belliver was located in 2009 while a group of divers searched for the wreckage of the Russian submarine S-2.

The wreck is residing upright on the bottom and she is still very intact and detailed. Among things to be seen is the ship’s bell, compass and engine telegraph. Dive depth is between 27-34m. Depending on the season the visibility varies between 5 and 15 meters.
