S/S Helge

During World War 1 the steamer Helge was sailing between Finland and Sweden when she south of the Flöttjan lighthouse was boarded by a German submarine. Since the ship was from Åland, then a part of the Russian Tsarist Empire, the Germans gave the orders to sink her.

Even though the destruction was devastating Helge still has an intact hull, measuring 61 metres in length and 8.5 meters in width. She was built in 1869 in Scotland, completely in wood. Now she can be admired on a depth of 45-54 metres by the advanced Trimix/Technical diver, truly a time travel with all fine interior details preserved.
