Gävle was an official ship of the Swedish national administration of shipping and navigation, and can be found out in Eckerö. She hit a rock in stormy weather in 1975, miraculously everybody was saved but the ship slid down to a depth of 22 to 30 meters. The voyage out to Gävle lasts 1.5 hours and there can be rough weather conditions and sea-sickness might occur. The currents can sometimes be strong, especially from the surface down to about five meters. Still, this dive should not be missed! The accessible depth, great visibility, up to 20 meters, and a still intact interior makes it all worth while.
